He graduated from Tulane Medical School and completed a residency specialty in Preventive Medicine. In addition to his traditional medical training, he aspired to follow in the footsteps of visionary physicians who established and outlined the model of integrative holistic medicine. In his own healing journey, he has pursued extensive studies in integrative and mind body medicine from well-known leaders in the field of complementary medicine such as Herbert Benson of Harvard Medical School, Andrew Weil of the University of Arizona and neurosurgeon, Dr. Norm Shealy. In addition, he has apprenticed with many other healers of various traditions.
